Teresa
Jones - Media and Cultural Market Advisor
Teresa Jones has almost 25 years of experience working
in television. She started as a trainee at KUAT-TV,
the PBS affiliate in Tucson, AZ in 1980. She worked
her way up the ladder to Writer/Reporter and eventually
became the Producer/ Host of her own bilingual newsmagazine
show titled “Reflexiones”. Teresa moved
to Los Angeles in 1996 and got a job at KCBS-TV as an
Editor.
In 2004, Teresa decided to move to Seattle where
she met the Sales Manager at Radio Sol, Seattle’s
first 24/7 Spanish language radio station. Once hired
at Radio Sol as an Account Manager, she quickly became
the Top Sales person for the station. Teresa just recently
was offered and accepted a position at KUNS-TV, the
new Univision affiliate in Seattle, WA. But her true
love and passion is acting. Teresa was a founding member
of “Teatro Libertad” in Tucson in 1976.
This small Chicano theater collective wrote and performed
all of their own material throughout the US and in Mexico.
Teresa has a great love and appreciation for all the
arts!
