Vila's Poetry

WHAT INSPIRES ME?

She is Who She Is | Such Innocence | Sister Moon
I am a Poet | A Heart is a Lonely Hunter | Searching for My Religion

Sister Moon

dedicated to anyone who's ever felt alone

By Vila

Clusters and clusters of massive grays,
In hues of cobalt blues and whites
Tangling and flowing in different directions
Amongst the clouds and cobalt skies in black
And hues of grays and whites

Oh sister moon full you are
In radiant light

The mystery of your glow
Hides deep within your soul
The deeper meaning of the truth

Speak to me sister moon
I am your blessed kin
Your companion
I am your friend
Share with me your frustrations

Don’t go out raging into the endless skies
Tangling and flowing in different directions
Amongst the clouds and cobalt skies
In black and hues of grays and whites
It does not hear you
Oh sister moon

Tonight is young and I am alive waiting
For you to open up
Your deeper soul of truth and pain
And let it go

Author's Comments:
"I think at one point in our lives we do feel that loneliness. This was an attempt to communicate that "loneliness" and having someone to listen to you.....and not judge!!!"
