Tshua
Leng Tshua was born and raised in the Republic of Singapore
and started playing the piano at the tender age of two. A
full scholarship from Arizona State University enabled
Leng to immigrate to the United States in the 80's while
completing his piano study with famed Brazilian pianist
Caio Pagano. Leng returned to Southeast Asia after
graduation and spent the nest two years concertizing
and teaching before settling down in Seattle, Washington.
During the next ten years Leng was actively involved
in the Music and Arts communities in the Puget Sound
area. While Leng was appointed as general manager for
Sherman Clay he devoted his time and energy in volunteering
as well as patron of the Arts.
Leng was vice President of the Bellevue Philharmonic
from 1999- 2004, as vice President of PAFE(Performing
Arts Festival Eastside)from 1999-2001, currently on
the advisory board of International Ballet( Kirkland),
co-founded Puget Sound Steinway Society, co-founded
Eastside Jazz, and was music program chair for the Bellevue
Rotary Club from 1999-2004. In 2004 Leng was appointed
as President of Steinway Piano Gallery in Tucson, Arizona.
Leng currently commutes between Seattle and Tucson.
