J. Leon - Volunteer Coordinator Tucson
Mayra J. Leon was born in Sonora, Mexico, but has lived
most of her life in Arizona. There is nothing more beautiful
than an Arizona sunset in the summer, which is one of
the reasons she decided to make Tucson her home.
Her hobbies include traveling the world, appreciating
art and wine, arguing about politics, salsa dancing,
and hanging out at coffee shops. She finds life to be
an adventure and is often seeking new experiences. She’s
frequently looking for change and tries to stay away
from the conventional.
She graduated from The Eller College of Management
and acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.
Currently works in sales at Sam Levitz Furniture, Northwest
location. Always having an interest in art, she finds
the opportunity to be part of the local art scene and
being able to surround herself by artistic minds amazing.
She’s constantly looking forward to learning from
the people around her and opening her mind to new horizons.
